Land Acknowledgement

A land acknowledgement is a formal recognition of Indigenous nations and their traditional territories. It honours the historic and current significance of Indigenous peoples who have originally lived and cared for the land. As a service provider, making a land acknowledgement is part of our diligence and commitment towards Indigenous community wellbeing.

Canadian Pharmaceutical Distribution Network (CPDN) humbly acknowledges that our company conducts its operations across the vast and diverse lands of what is now called Canada, home to the traditional territories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, each with their distinct cultures, languages, and histories. We are mindful of their unique rights and perspectives, actively seeking engagement and partnership, and striving to build sustainable relationships.

We commit to not repeating past mistakes and to work towards more equitable and respectful relationships, honouring the contributions of Indigenous cultures to Canada's tapestry. Land acknowledgements are acts of Reconciliation, and a way for Canadians to recognize the resilience of Indigenous peoples across Canada.
